FoodSaver® Appliances with Marinate Button

1. Prepare enough of your favorite marinade to fully cover food inside a marinating canister. Always leave at least one inch of space between contents and top of rim.

2. Make sure rubber gasket underneath the lid as well as rim of marinating canister is free from food materials.

3. Insert accessory into the FoodSaver® Quick Marinator
a. If using the accessory hose with handheld adapter – Remove the bottom portion and insert the tip into the port on the Quick Marinator
b. If using the green or gray port accessory hose – Insert one end of the accessory hose into the accessory port on the FoodSaver® Quick Marinator lid. Insert the other end into the accessory port on the FoodSaver® appliance.

4. Make sure lid is firmly attached to the FoodSaver® Quick Marinator base.

5. Turn the knob on the FoodSaver® Quick Marinator so the arrow points to Marinate/Open.

6. Press Marinate button on FoodSaver® appliance.

7. The machine will begin the Quick Marinate Cycle and indicate once process is complete.

FoodSaver® Appliances without Marinate Button

1. Prepare enough of your favorite marinade to fully cover food inside a marinating canister. Always leave at least one inch of space between contents and top of rim.

2. Make sure rubber gasket underneath the lid as well as rim of marinating canister is free from food materials.

3. Insert accessory into the FoodSaver® Quick Marinator
a. If using the accessory hose with handheld adapter – Remove the bottom portion and insert the tip into the port on the FoodSaver® Quick Marinator . If using the green or gray port accessory hose – Insert one end of the accessory hose into the accessory port on the FoodSaver® Quick Marinator lid. Insert the other end into the accessory port on the FoodSaver® appliance.

4. Make sure lid is firmly attached to the FoodSaver® Quick Marinator base.

5. Turn the knob on the FoodSaver® Quick Marinator so the arrow points to Marinate – Vacuum/Canister

6. Activate the FoodSaver® appliance
a. If there is an Accessory or Canister button, press the Accessory or Canister button
b. If there is no Accessory or Canister button, press the Vac/Seal button

7. Once vacuum is complete, turn the knob on the canister lid so the arrow points to Closed/Store

8. Let meat marinate for a total of 15 to 20 minutes in the refrigerator

9. Once marinating is complete, turn the knob to Marinate/Open to release vacuum and remove the lid

• “Marinate (with V3 – Models) Open” setting is to be used with all appliances that have a marinate button.

• “Marinate (with all other models) Vacuum/Canister” setting is to be used with appliances that do not have a marinate button.
